She put it up very well. Inside story of some famous political incidents is a plus.

Auto biography of John Perkins

This is more than story of a person. This is story of  Corporatocracy, a story of how old colonial system evolved into modern economist based system where few skilled individuals rather than armies are require to conquer a nations. Perkins was one of the early hitmen who took part in this and watch over the interests of wealthy corporations in all over the world. He described three level American system to colonize any nation, economic hitmen are first sent to convince that country to get heavy loans for economic growth (unnecessary loans, precisely speaking) that they are unable to pay so comes under the debt of USA. If a country don't accept a loan, Jackals (CIA agents) try to topple govt. Last stage is to send armies if all other options are useless. He also describes a lot of historical events like Rise of Saudi Arabia etc in context of AAmerican Empire. This book is worth a read.

He served on many important positions during many crucial times. His story is very important to understand Pakistan.

Autobiography of Qudrat Ullah Shahab
Story of a bureaucrat and a writer. His post migration and after migration experience and his presence on many very important occasions is worth reading. This book actually have a hidden story of how Pakistan became such a failed state slowly.  This book is a history in itself.

A novel written by Umera Ahmed, a popular play writer of  recent times. Story revolves around two dissatisfied souls. Salar Sikndar, a very genious guy and very dissatisfied from the society he is living in and Imama, a dissatisfied from religious perspective. Both have nothing in common yet they somehow crossed each other paths and join their path of religious awakening. 
This is a "Sweet" story that have all the factors required to make it a hit in a society like Pakistan. Elite class, Love, Religious conspiracy and many other things. With all its criticism, it have somehow revived reading culture in youth.
